How To Boost A Facebook Post Step by step guide

#Step: 1

First question you need to think is that what post are you going to boost and why? You should need to choose a post that already has potential if you want to get the most out of your paid boost. Only boost a Facebook page or profile that is highly relevant, received some organic reach and is something that you would click on yourself. Once you have added, then make sure that there are no spelling errors in the caption and update the photo if it is not engaging. A new pop-up screen will appear which gives you a wide range of options and filters for your paid Facebook boost. Under the audience heading, you have three options to filter who your posts will be boosted to: people who have already liked your page, people who like your page and their friends or people you chose with the help of targeting. When you click on the third option to customize who your post will be boosted to, then click the edit audience and a new pop-out window will open up the customization fields which includes the gender, age, interests, and locations. Fill in all the fields, click save and scroll down to set your duration and budget.


#Step 3:

Select your desired budget from the drop-down menu. The default will be Rs 400, but you can change it to anything you like based on the estimated people reach figure. Then simply select the duration of the campaign to 1 day, 7 days, 14 days or the customized date according to your choice. Confirm your currency into INR and click Boost in the bottom left corner.


#Step 4:

A new pop up screen will appear which prompts you to enter your credit card details/debit card details/Net banking/Paytm Wallet. Enter in all of the required fields and select continue at the bottom of the window to process the payments and then finalize your Facebook boost.


#Step 5:

Your posts on Facebook has now been boosted! Now sit back, relax and watch the reach of the post grow.
